As we wrap up 2021, it’s time to evaluate what is strong with your business and take that momentum with you into 2022.
- What attracted your business to new clients or customers? Customer service?
- What processes worked for you this year and how can you build upon them?
- How did your leadership skills effect your team?
- In what ways did your company impact your community?
Think about the areas that really made a positive impact on your business this year and consider ways to build upon them to strengthen customer relations, team building, and personal growth in the new year.
Consider any positive feedback you received throughout 2021 from colleagues and peers. Don’t assume that since you are receiving positive feedback in those areas, that you should focus your attention elsewhere. While it is critical to have a well-rounded focus on all aspects of your business, it’s equally important to continue to strengthen the areas that are bringing success to you and your business.
Be sure to share that feedback with your team for continuous customer service that keeps bringing in new business, as well as, maintaining your established clientele.
I’m certain that customer service is an area that is strong with you. It seems in the past few years, customer service is lacking, and morale is down, leaving consumers with little confidence in once trusted businesses.
I take notice where I receive excellent customer service, whether in food service, insurance, retail, entertainment, etc. Those companies have me as a life-long customer—as long as they are continually improving upon what keeps me coming back. For them to focus on what is right in their business— is smart business.
End this year on a positive note and focus your energy on what is keeping your customers coming back for more and kick the door open on 2022!
All the best,
Kim
